Privacy Policy

This page explains what information Priorstack collects and how it’s used.

Comments

When you leave a comment, we collect the name, email address, and (optional) website you submit, along with your IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. If you check “Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment,” this information is stored in a cookie on your device; it expires after one year.

An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Comments are retained indefinitely so that follow-up discussion remains possible. If you’d like a comment or its associated data removed, contact us via the Contact page.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and operational purposes.

Third-party services

We do not currently run advertising or analytics scripts on this site. If that changes in the future (e.g. Google Analytics or Google AdSense), this policy will be updated to describe what those services collect and how to opt out, before they’re enabled.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you (such as a comment) by contacting us via the Contact page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
